Can you imagine a world without cars, ships, planes, trains and even motorcycle? Of course, it would be hard for us to traveling. We can not constantly use the power of our legs to reach a place where we want to go to. This will take a long time. Population growth means people will live further away from each other and places like shops, schools, offices and so on. In today's world we need all kinds of transport facilities to survive. The three main kinds of transportation are on land, by water, and by air.

Punctuation-Titles: Underline, Italics, or Quotations?

           When writing about other works, it's hard to decide when to underline (or place in italics) a title and when to place it in double quotations.

Punctuation-Using Quotation Marks

To enclose a direct quotation (a person's exact words) but not indirect quotations:
 ex. John said, "The ref made a good call that time." (direct quotation)
John said that the referee made a good call that time. (indirect quotation)

There are three major uses for semicolons. Note that an "independent clause" means a group of words capable of being a sentence by themselves.
