Man vs. Woman

An American baseball player, Jackie Robinson (January 31, 1919 – October 24, 1972), says: “In the end we are all separate: our stories, no matter how similar, come to a fork and diverge. We are drawn to each other because of our similarities, but it is our differences we must learn to respect.”
We can not choose or decide for being a woman or a man. A man or woman should be grateful for his/herself as the most noble of God's creation. All we can do is, stick to the status quo. I have been observing about the differences of these two sexes. Furthermore, I have also been looking for similarities, which I have found, and there are many. Several differences between man and woman are the nature, occupation, and gender symbol.

The first thing I’m going to discuss is the nature. Man and woman are aggressive. But, man is more aggressive to receive the response that comes from the environment and people around, so the man's reply to the response to excess. Moreover, man tends to be emotional, so that he can respond something with violence. In contrast to woman, who is less aggressive.  Women tend to be relaxed to receive the response that comes from outside. In addition, woman has good communication skills and able to control emotions, so that he could respond to and understand the emotions of people around the well and wisely.

I’m going to discuss the occupation second. First of all, both of them have prime duty. Man must provide for his family. With a strong physique, he can work anything whether hunting, office work or something that can make money. Because he is the one who should bring food for family. Besides, a man designated to protect the woman and kids. On the other hand, Woman naturally became accustomed to domestic job and to care for the children, providing the male with a home where he could rest after returning from work and hunting.

And the last, I like to discuss about gender symbol. Wikipedia highlights that, both of them take symbol of the planet’s name; Mars symbol for man, and Venus symbol for woman. But, I would like to review it in terms of history; the people of ancient times did not recognize text, so they use pictures and symbols to communicate. Man as the planet Mars, the circle and arrow indicate that man in ancient times likes hunting with harpoons. On the other hand, Woman as the planet Venus, while the symbol of a circle with a cross below it, as the portrayal of woman, shows that woman is like a mirror.

Finally, each man and each woman was once a little child, and both have came from very similar places, with biological differences, but still just human beings. Since the nature, occupation, and symbol, being a woman is more interesting than a man. And I totally proud of being one of the millions great women in the world.
